Werx4 Forms Printing (Werx4Ms)

Werx4Ms allows virtually unlimited capability to transform your print stream to suit your business needs. Text and similar outputs from legacy or ERP systems can be transformed to high quality, tailored business documents with no programming required.

Werx4MS enables the creation of high quality business documents with shading, boxes, graphics, barcodes, etc and the inclusion of additional text such as standard terms and conditions, weekly marketing messages. This is all done away from the host application. This means the turnaround times are shorter because there are no changes required to the host application.

Generic output of text-only design can be transformed into laser printer quality, including barcodes, images and COM objects. Print stream output from the host application can be edited, modified, moved, re-used, to produce the tailored print required. Werx4Ms can also print to non-laser printers such as dot matrix, thermal printers and PDF.

Werx4MS consists of a design component and a runtime component. The design tools are Output Designer and Input Definer.
Using Output Designer you can design layouts of reports, business documents or other presentation files. The Input Definer allows you to specify the input data which will be used at runtime to populate your output layout. Simple line and column positions can be used to map straightforward report files, or regular expressions can be used for more complex situations.

The transformation is performed at run-time by the Input Engine and the Output Formatter.
